Wall Fencing Wire General
Reinforced barbed tape which is also called RBT has been developed to replace standard barbed wire inits roleto deter, obstruct and protect. Barbed tape concertina (BTC) or punched tape Concertina (PTC) Consist of steel strips reinforced with high tensile wire and spear like barb at close intervals.
It can be in single stand or it can be given a round shape with various diameters for more density to meet different requirements. It can be attached to exiting barrier faces or can also be used independently as a barricade to thickenup the defense potential.
Sailent Features Of Concertina Tape
- The barb rips and the hook grabs, so it becomes more effective than standard barbed wire.
- RBT once given a round shape it becomes paunch tape concertina coil
- The core wire of the coil is hardened spring steel of 780 kg. breaking strain. Due to this the coil holds its shape and is difficult to cut normal tools.
- This is easy to ship, transport and deploy.
- It can be laid on Boundary walls, Grill with / without support or on ground as a barricade independently.
- Electronic surveillance system can also be installed along concertina coil to enhance further security of the area.
Installation Of BTC / PTC WIRE
The BTC / PTC can be laid on boundary walls / grills or even on ground. The best way to erect is with MS Angle Iron, erected at a distance of 3 to 4 meter either in I shape or in Y shape with two strands of RBT to give support to BTC, RBT to be tied with BTC with flexible wire/ J clip.
